Lake Tahoe Intimate Pre-Wedding photos
This Pre-wedding session with Dustin and Christine on a Lake Tahoe mountain top was so much fun, we loved it! Some of you may be asking what the heck are pre-wedding photos? Isn’t that just an engagement? Pre-wedding photos are some of our favorite photos to shoot. It’s a photo session normally a day or two before the actual wedding where we plan on taking our couples to an epic location to make some amazing and memorable photos. It’s a lot like one of our adventurous engagement sessions, but just much closer to the actual wedding day. We love doing these shoots for our destination weddings, because normally there are so many amazing locations to shoot, but too little time to do it on the actual wedding day. This pre-wedding session was in South Lake Tahoe and was about a 45 minute hike to the top. We brought along some champagne and snacks and hung out on top of the mountain as we waited for the light to soften and the sky to glow. This is a great chance to catch up with our couples and talk about the wedding and really get everyone dialed in for the big day. Engagement photos tend to have a more casual feel to them, the pre-wedding photos often take on a more intimate elopement feel. We’ve also heard it’s a nice break from the last minute planning and hosting to just be alone together for a bit, (with us of course).
