Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
We know that there are a lot of questions when planning a wedding; here are a few that we
think are helpful. But we know there are going to be more so please ask away!
I want to book you! What is next?
Yay!! To reserve your wedding date, we just need a signed contract and the $1000 retainer. After we take care of that business, let’s get together and talk more about the fun stuff.
What’s included in your wedding packages? How many photos do I get? How much is all of this going to cost?
Our wedding packages are totally customizable based on what you need to capture your story. All packages include 50-75 final edited images per hour of coverage. Our wedding coverage begins at $3500 and includes 7 hours; however, once we talk to you a little more about what you are envisioning we can put together a customized quote that will be just right for you.
How long will it take to get my photos? How will you deliver them?
Wedding photos are delivered approximately 10-12 weeks after your wedding date in an online shareable gallery. Delivery times may fluctuate based on time of year and current demand.
Engagement photos are delivered the same way approximately 6-8 weeks from the shoot date. Again delivery time depends on current demand and can fluctuate greatly during different times of the year.
Do you guys shoot elopements? Do you travel for weddings?
YES, YES, AND YES! We love shooting anything out of the ordinary and especially love to travel to new places. Just contact us with some details of your wedding and we can send you a quote.
We are not really into doing an engagement shoot, is that ok?
Of course. We always like recommending an engagement shoot because it gives us the opportunity for all of us to get to know each other in a photography scenario prior to your wedding date (and it’s really fun) but if you don’t need them or don’t want them that is totally cool too.
What is a first look?
A first look is when the couple takes some private time (with us there to capture it) to see each other prior to the ceremony. “Why would you do that?” a lot of our couples ask us. Well, there are benefits for both the couple and the photographer, but a first look is not for everyone. If you do a first look, the majority of the photos can be taken before the ceremony, which allows the couple to attend cocktail hour/reception directly after the ceremony. It also allows you to spend some quiet time with your new husband/wife and take everything in before seeing each other in front of all of your guests. We also have a lot of clients that want that magical moment of seeing each other for the first time while walking down the aisle. Whatever is right for you!!
Are you guys really married?
For reals; it's already been 10 years now. We’ve even got the photos to prove it.
