JOSHUA TREE AND 29 PALMS ENGAGEMENT | JOSHUA TREE | AMY AND NATE
In the sun-drenched landscapes of 29 Palms just outside Joshua Tree California is the raddest little dive bar called The Virginian. This is where Amy and Nate met us to begin what would be an awesome, adventurous, engagement shoot. The vibe was all about warmth, happiness, and creativity. This adorable couple brought a sense of wanderlust that was perfectly set against the weathered and frayed surroundings of the harsh California desert. There is a magic that happens in Joshua Tree that is unexplainable. The light bouncing off the desert floor creates an atmosphere, unlike any other place we know. The sun sets quickly here, but there is a reluctance from the light to completely fade away. We call it linger light. It just hangs above the valley like a desert candle in the sky. When you mix this light with the quiet of the desert air and the freedom of open space it becomes truly magical.
